Fractional ownership has been the way to go for our family

We are packing up to leave from our latest week at Whitewater Village and everyone is relaxed and not very excited about leaving – even in November!

As usual, we found our cottage clean and warm when we arrived and we have spent the week hiking, playing board games, cooking and relaxing by the fire. We started the week off by smoking a few chickens on the Traeger and finished it with a trip to the Whitewater Brewing Company.

We bought our interval here before any of the cottages were started except for the Lake House and we walked the site to see where the best views could be had. Although we chose P4 or Treetops we have stayed in several of the other cottages and are impressed with how each of them has a unique and stunning view of the water.

We tend to start the week here by unwinding after hectic weeks back home, but the Ottawa Valley has so much to offer if you want to explore. From lovely gift shops to country fairs, from the Brewery to the deli in Cobden, from hiking trails around the cottage to cross country skiing in Pembroke, no one is ever bored! Today on our way back home, we are going to do some geocaching around Forester’s Falls.

Fractional ownership has been the way to go for our family. We have owned cottages in the past but the management and Owner’s Council here have made this a seamless and enjoyable way to get away from the city, to relax with children, grandchildren and friends and to meet new people.
