‘Wow!

Were do I begin, we first visited the Whitewater Village property in October of 2009 and just loved the whole concept of "cottage club/fractional ownership". Our first week of ownership was March break this year, words cannot describe our feeling when we first walked into the cottage, WOW! We have two young children and they were so excited to be able to share a room with bunk beds and the décor is perfect! Everything was here, right down to plates and cups and utensils for the kids. The fireplace heated the whole cottage, the washrooms, the bedding everything exceeded our expectations. The weather could not have been any better, we spent the days outside walking in the forest, walking by the water, sitting on the deck looking out at the water with our cups of coffee in the morning. It was the perfect relaxing week as a family, no need to worry about taking care of the grass or doing renovations, basically enjoying yourself with the kids which is the reason we purchased this cottage. My family looks forward to every week we get to spend there. We are already planning our next week up in June with family and friends!’

When Jonathan became involved in developing this beautiful piece of land, we started spending time there and I began to understand all that fractional ownership had to offer, we bought in. ‘Our goal in owning a share in a cottage in Whitewater Village was to enjoy a well appointed, comfortable cottage in a beautiful part of the Upper Ottawa Valley and enjoy five weeks of peace and quiet every year without the burden of maintaining it and the worry of keeping it secure whilst not there.

The cottage has met these expectations completely and because of its idyllic location, it continues to delight us every time we visit. We have had visitors from elsewhere in Canada as well as from Europe who have gone away refreshed and impressed by the cottage itself and its surroundings.

We have found that the close proximity to Wilderness Tours and its facilities provides us with a full range of optional activities on the Ottawa River and which ensures that we are spoilt for choices of things to do when at the cottage.’
