Driving Instructions

From Ottawa:

  • Take Highway 417/17 West towards Pembroke
  • Drive past the last exit to Renfrew (Bruce Ave)
  • Drive 4.5 km
  • Turn right onto Storyland Road (#4)
  • Drive 3 km
  • Keep left onto Queens Line (#4)
  • Drive 15 kms
  • Turn right on Kohlsmith Road
  • Drive 4 kms
  • Turn right onto Rafters Road
  • Drive 2.5 km
  • Turn left into Wilderness Tours site.

From Pembroke:

  • Take Highway 17 East towards Ottawa
  • Turn left on Foresters Road (# 7)
  • Drive 12 km
  • Turn left on Grants Settlement Road
  • Drive 1 km
  • Turn right onto Rafters Road
  • Drive 2.5 km
  • Turn left into Wilderness Tours site.

Once at the Wilderness Tours Entrance:

  • Drive past Rafters Restaurant
  • Turn left at end of parking area
  • Follow the road to the right
  • Drive past the Pavillion
  • Continue past log cabin (on your left)
  • Then past another cabin (on your right)
  • Stay to the right
  • Follow the road to visitor parking.
  • Walk down the pathway to the Reception Beach House.
