You pay full purchase price to own cottage 365 days per year (no matter how many days a year you use it). You buy shares in the cottage equivalent to the amount of cottage time you can actually use each year.

You are responsible for all cottage maintenance. Maintenance costs are shared between all owners with a simple annual fee. A year-round maintenance crew keeps everything in prime condition.

Cottage must be provisioned. Order food and provisions through the onsite staff, and it will be there when you arrive.

You are responsible for supplying your own recreational items. Outdoor gear such as canoes and kayaks is ready and waiting.
There’s no community—the kids are lonely and bored. Whitewater Village is a great community with a members’ club. The kids are excited and there’s always lots for everyone to do.
The nearest social gathering spot is back in the city. The nearest social gathering spot is the members’ club just down the boardwalk. You can also take in the activities at Wilderness Tours, located next to the Whitewater Village site.
If you wish to rent out your cottage, you are responsible for finding a suitable renter. A renter pool is in place for the organized rental of weeks that you do wish to use in any given year
As much as you may love your cottage, it’s probably your only vacation destination. If you want to explore other vacation options, you can take advantage of Whitewater Village’s affiliation with Resort Condominiums International (RCI) and exchange a week at your cottage for a week at a resort almost anywhere in the world.
